Lights Out: Short film 88:88 is currently a semifinalist in YouTube’s Your Film Festival, and it’s easy to see why.
This quick sci-fi flick has a slow burn, but a stellar payoff. Voting for this movie (and the other 49) ends on Friday, July 13.

The other day I woke up in my home without my computer and, having nothing better to do, spent the morning watching this on the Late Night with Carson Daly I taped and then youtubing various versions on the only internet-capable technology I had left at my disposal until someone came to pick me up and take me to my car/computer/lifeblood.
This is the best version I could find. Except for, you know, that loathsome rapist whisper of the radio station name stamped over the middle. Bastards.
And just a heads up: with new Sleigh Bells on the 14th and fun. on the 21st, I will probably be unreachable during the entire latter half of February 2012. Sooo mark that one down on your calendars. In ink. I’m going underground, snitches!
